The instrument

embe is a handheld synthesizer designed to make creating music feel immediate, tactile, and fun.

Built around seven chord keys and a simple set of hands-on controls, embe is being designed to let you explore chords, shape sounds, add effects, and turn an idea into music without getting lost in menus or complicated workflows.

No music theory degree required. No screen full of software. Just press a key, hear a chord, and start creating.

Underneath that simplicity is a real standalone synthesizer. embe generates its own sounds, offers multiple waveforms and effects, and gives you control over how those sounds move and evolve. The goal is to create enough depth for musicians to experiment while keeping the experience approachable enough for someone picking up an instrument for the first time.

Currently in development

Right now, embe is still being built.

What started as components and jumper wires on a breadboard is slowly becoming a real instrument. Every part from the electronics and software to the controls, enclosure, and sound is being developed through Massello Made.

The goal isn't just to build a prototype.

It's to build an instrument worth putting into the hands of other creatives.
